If I lay here.. (Kaku x Reader)

Watching the stars was always a favorite thing of yours to do. You loved laying back on the soft grass, feeling the summer breeze caress your skin as it danced along, counting the stars and pointing out the constellations you knew- which were hardly any.

Sitting up, your laid your hands flat behind you to support your weight, your head tilted back and watching everything go on above you.

You noticed it was such a quiet night.. The crickets weren't out, everything seemed to be sleeping peacefully In the small forest surrounding you. And how you envied them for that. You would give anything to sleep that sound, even if was just for one night.

Suddenly the sound of grass crunching caught your ears, causing your head to jerk in that direction. A small jolt of fear ran through your veins and you weren't sure how to react.

"I had a feeling you would be up here.."

That voice..

Letting out a deep sigh, you placed your hand on your chest as if to calm it down. You chuckled slightly, looking back up at the man now in front of you. "Oh, Kaku, it's you."

His smile shone in the moon light as he made his way closer. "Were you expecting someone else?" He asked in a joking voice.

Blinking at him for a moment, you grinned before looking back up at the sky and cooed. "Maaaaaybe~"

Sitting down beside you, he let out a few rounds of laughs before it went silent again.

Suddenly, two arms reached out and wrapped around you and pulled you back, causing you to let out a squeal of surprise.

"I have a question.."

"Yes?"

"If I laid here, if I just laid here.. would lie with me and just forget the world?"
